Osage Traffic Citation Search
The Kansas Courts Central Payment Center search page is the official statewide payment search channel for many Kansas traffic, criminal, juvenile offender, and fish and game cases. It is useful for state or county citations routed through the Kansas court payment system, but it is not a complete index of every Osage County municipal ticket.

Osage Traffic Courts
Traffic records in Osage County are split by court. Kansas District Court can handle county or state-level traffic matters, sheriff citations, Kansas Highway Patrol citations, fish and game cases, and more serious traffic offenses. Municipal courts handle city ordinance violations inside city limits, usually traffic and minor offenses.

Osage Municipal Ticket Split
Osage City has its own municipal payment path. The city court page lists Judge Kevin Kimball, City Attorney Rick Godderz, and court contacts Lexi Carpentier or Sadie Boos. Online payment is through the Osage City payment portal, and the city says a case number is required. Phone payment is also available at 1-844-507-3625 with a case number.

That portal is separate from District Court search and should be used only when the ticket belongs to Osage City Municipal Court.
Carbondale Municipal Court meets the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, with office hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Lyndon Municipal Court lists Court Clerk Julie Stutzman, CMC, and publishes courtroom protocol such as proper attire, phones off, no photography or audio recording, and no food or drink in the courtroom.

Pay or Contest Osage Tickets

- For a contested ticket, confirm how to enter a plea or request a court date, and do not pay until the court explains the effect.
- If court was missed, call the correct court before paying because an appear-order or bench warrant may require judge action.

Osage Traffic Access Rules
Kansas traffic court records are public when they are not sealed, expunged, restricted by court rule, or protected by another law. K.S.A. 45-216 states the Kansas policy favoring open public records. K.S.A. 45-218 governs inspection requests, response, refusal, and fees. K.S.A. 45-221 lists records public agencies are not required to disclose and supports separating open and closed information when possible.

A court traffic record and a Kansas driver record are different files. The court record is created by the District Court or municipal court and tracks the citation case. Kansas Department of Revenue services are separate from Osage County traffic case search. Osage DUI Traffic Cases
DUI and serious traffic crimes may begin as traffic-related events but often route through criminal procedure. That means first appearance, bond, diversion, prosecution, plea, disposition, sentence, probation, and expungement questions may be part of the criminal case record, not just a ticket payment screen. Osage Traffic Diversion Warnings
The Osage County Attorney handles criminal, traffic, juvenile, CINC, involuntary commitment, and county code prosecutions. The diversion page warns that a person should not pay District Court before diversion is filed because doing so can void diversion and make the matter go down as a guilty charge. CDL and commercial driving consequences should be checked with the court, counsel, and KDOR because a court outcome can affect a driver record. The research did not confirm a special Osage County CDL local rule, so no local promise of eligibility for diversion, deferral, or dismissal should be made.
